Client Feedback

When we seek to partner with external recruiters, TalentVine connects us to agencies and talent pools as diverse as the roles we fill. Challenges

The Talent Acquisition team at Workcover QLD hire a variety of specialist and technical roles across a vast number of specialisations. This required access to a variety of specialist recruiters that weren’t always available from their panel of recruitment agencies. Each time a new role was placed, the terms and the fees needed to be approved with the legal and procurement teams which created a headache and slowed down the time to hire.

How TalentVine Helped

Workcover QLD use one set of terms and conditions on the TalentVine platform which all recruitment agencies agree to before working on any roles. This ensures that everyone is working against the same terms of service through TalentVine. Workcover are able to review all the bids from recruiters before deciding whom to engage with. The examples of ‘similar roles recently placed’ and corresponding ratings and metrics provide the team with full clarity around who the best consultant is to work with each time.

Results and Return on Investment

Using TalentVine has eliminated the need to involve the procurement and legal teams each time a new hire or agency is engaged, whilst providing full flexibility to use any agency that has the right proven experience and ratings.

Grant Thornton

www.grantthornton.com.au

Client Feedback

The first time we used TalentVine, we had spent months trying to fill a hard-to-fill position, both internally and with external recruiters. Within two weeks of placing the role onto TalentVine, we had made an offer to a great candidate through a specialist recruiter at both attractive fees and terms. TalentVine provides the flexibility, accountability and change that is very welcome in this era of recruitment outsourcing.

Challenges

Grant Thornton are hiring in a space where there is a lot of competition for top accounting and finance talent and they had found that recruiters were approaching them with very high fees whenever they were advertising for key roles. Not only did they want a solution that could reduce their outsourced recruitment fees but they wanted to also ensure that they were only ever working with top quality consultants that were experts in their fields. Often their best results in hiring roles were from smaller boutique agencies and they wanted to be able to identify the best agencies to work with each time, whether boutique or corporate and know they are getting the most attractive rates at the same time.

How TalentVine Helped

The first role Grant Thornton ever added to TalentVine had been with their panel of recruiters for four months without any successful hires. Within two weeks, they had made a hire for this position as TalentVine enabled them to access a specialist recruiter that had recently placed a similar role, and therefore had a perfect candidate ready to submit. Grant Thornton now stipulate the maximum fees that they are willing to pay and our platform ensures that all recruiters that agree to work on these roles are doing so at, or below this rate.

Results and Return on Investment

TalentVine has been able to introduce Grant Thornton to new agencies that they hadn’t worked with previously by eliminating the risk associated with engaging new recruitment agencies. By selecting the recruiters to work with from a wider selection, this ensures they can leverage off the time and costs that some recruiters have already invested into placing similar candidates in other firms

Two positions have now been hired through TalentVine.

100% of candidates made it past their probation period, reducing turnover associated with using disengaged or unsuitable recruitment consultants.

Challenges

With a small internal resourcing team, BCG utilise TalentVine to engage with specialists that can assist in filling additional roles where external support is required. www.nanonouvelle.com.au

Nano Nouvelle Logo

Challenges

By selecting agencies that had experience in dealing with similar candidates, the consultants reached out to their networks across Australia for this very niche role that required experience in nanotechnology and a willingness to relocate to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Case Study #6

Digital Project Manager, SquadInk Branding Agency

www.squadink.com.au

Client Feedback

“TalentVine is a really innovative concept in recruiting. The process is centralised so we saved time and had more control on the candidates’ screening and the recruitment budget. Sending a brief out to many recruitment agencies at once allowed us to receive many quality candidates in a very short time. We’re very time poor so it really made a difference, and the talent we hired is a great addition to the team. It really feels like a new way of recruiting and our agency will definitely use TalentVine again.”

Challenges

Squad Ink needed to hire a strong Digital Project Manager to work on accounts such as Ferrari, Batlows Cider and City of Sydney. They had a tight budget so tried Seek at first with no success. Needing to hire a great candidate in a competitive market, they were running out of time before the start of a large project for a prestigious client.

How TalentVine Helped

TalentVine shared the job description and candidate requirements amongst the specialist recruitment agencies across Sydney. Two of the agencies had recently placed similar roles with other clients and were happy to partner with SquadInk at rates that suited their tight budget.

Results and Return on Investment

Six candidates were presented to the client. Three were invited in for an interview and a great hire accepted the role within two weeks of first using TalentVine. Six months on and Amanda is kicking goals as an integral part of the team.

SquadInk also saved $4,000 in recruitment fees based on a similar role they had hired previously.
